Hi,

I'm new to DNN and have gone as far as entering content and creating pages on an existing site. I'm familiar with VB and its web controls.

What i want to do is allow certain users to enter content, such as a press release, allowing them to tag the release. i would then have a press release page, listing all press releases, but also have content panes on other pages of the site that show press releases relevant to that page.

different types of content (e.g. press release, news, jobs) might also need to have different attributes, ie title, description, expiry date, etc

in another CMS I've used this would be done by specifying the attributes of the content, then adding content with tags (taxonomy) then creating modules around the site that can filter by taxonomy.

Could someone suggest a way of doing this in DNN, either a module that's already available, part of DNN itself that I've not found yet, or by pointing me to some other blogs or forum posts?

Thanks

John
