Since I've installed Internet Explorer 9 the website menu is not being displayed correctly.  It shows a small black icon beside each menu text.
Does anyone have this problem?
Thanks for your advise.

Hi

You need to edit the default.css file.
Around line 94 look for the following and set whichever shape is causing the problem to:    none

ul li{list-style-type:square;}
ul li li{list-style-type:disc;}
ul li li li{list-style-type:circle;}
ol li{list-style-type:decimal;}
ol ol li{list-style-type:lower-alpha;}
ol ol ol li{list-style-type:lower-roman;}
ol ul li{list-style-type:disc;}

That should remove the shape but be aware that there are a few display issues still with IE9 affecting all kinds of websites.

Thanks for your quick reply Ian, but I don't understand which shape I should set to "none". The shape that is appearing is not a circle, a square or a disc, it is more like a person icon.

HI Carmen

From your original post it seemed like the common thing of an unordered list menu adding the default listing shape but from what you say this is not the case.
I would suggest that you have a look using the developer tools in IE9 to isolate and identify the problem element.
I do not have IE9 on my system so am unsure about its dev tools capabilities.

Does the site show these problems in any other browser? Do they go away if you switch ie9 to its compatibility mode?

Not having ie9 means I cannot even see the problem so it is difficult to advise further.

Ian

I am having the same issue. It only happens in IE9. The icon is added to the right side of the dropdown menus. It also disappears when you hover over the dropdown menu item.

Here is a screenshot
