I found several tutorial on the web, but following any of them gives the same problem - the task doesn't start.

Probably there is something wrong in referencing the DLL file in Schedule's field 'Full Class Name and Assembly.' What shall I put there if my *.cs files starts with the following code?

using System;
using System.Collections.Generic;
using System.Linq;
using System.Text;
using DotNetNuke.Services.Scheduling;
using DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions;

namespace ReminderService
{
public class ReminderService : SchedulerClient
{
public ReminderService(ScheduleHistoryItem objScheduleHistoryItem) : base()
{
ScheduleHistoryItem = objScheduleHistoryItem;
}

public override void DoWork()
{
try
{
// do some stuff ...
ScheduleHistoryItem.AddLogNote("Hello world!");

// then report success to the scheduler framework
ScheduleHistoryItem.Succeeded = true;
}
...

There are two options of how this is registered depending on how you are developing the module WSP or WAP.

With WSP just the fully qualified class name is required.

With WAP you will need the class name and assembly/dll name, separate them by a comma like this.

Namespace.ClassName, AssemblyName
