I am working on a DNN site for a client. I have a handful of LINKCLICK.aspx urls that I need to manually change to a friendly url. I just want to know how I can edit the main menu inside the DNN admin. Any help would be appreciated. I'm new to DNN.

Thanks

You cant EDIT the contents of the menu in dnn as such - the menu is dynamically generated at runtime by the menu provider skin object - which is defined as a part of the skin for your site - based on the menu layout defined for your site when you add pages/tabs.

Having said that, what exactly are you trying to achieve - where are these linkclick.aspx urls that you are talking about ?

That's just it. I am doing some SEO for a client and I am getting 302 redirect errors because the urls generated by DNN are an un friendly LinkClick.aspx url. I need to manually change the urls but I cannot find them. I am thinking they are in the main nav bar. I just don't know how to edit it like I can edit the rest of the HTML content on a page.

They wont be in a navigation menu as a rule - since as I said the menu is dynamically generate.

 - linkclick urls are usually associated with user created HTML links inside a HTML module or on image/file links that are de-referenced for security protection.

Thanks for getting back. Well, i have managed to change some of  the LinkClink.aspx urls to more friendly urls by editing them in the HTML content on the site. Now I just can't find the remaining LinkClick urls to change them as well. Any idea where they might be hiding?
