The thing you should understand about DNN is that it is not a HTML builder - it is instead a database driven content management system.

As such you dont build a dnn site on a local machine and then ftp a set of html files up to hosting server.  All the main content of dnn sites are stored in tables inside a MS SQL database.  So to UPLOAD a site is a bit more complex process.

Also many dnn have content which is dynamic - forums - blogs - user info - this content is usually stored on the live host only.

Ok. Right now all my sites are hosted on godaddy and I built them with either frontpage or web expressions. I really like the dnn concept, the ease of use and ease of making changes and would like to convert (for lack of a better word) or re-built my current sites using dnn.Since all my current sites have the index.html as the main page, I am trying to understand how to do this with dnn on another server. So, that is what I am trying to do, find information on how to get this set up and running where I do my hosting at, because I already pay for that hosting (just paid for another year).
