hi

I have been doing a lot development on my local server in DNN(pages, content, modules and databases).

i was wondering what would be the correct way of moving every thing(pages, content, modules and databases) from my dev box to live.

should i run scripts to create the databases?
should i export and import each page and each module?

please assist in any links or tips on the correct way.

thx

So your saying a simple copy and replace would do the trick?

this way all data, skins, permission setting and pages would be available once copies across!?

yes, but I forgot to mention you'll need to add new domain address as Site Alias in Site Settings prior to the move, as well as adopting BOTH connection strings in web.config to apply to new database location (if applicable). Besides, you need to ensure, full file system permissions being granted for all files and subfolders to the Windows account used by ASP.Net, as configured in the IIS application pool, running your web site.
