Is there any way to eliminate the spacing that exist on modules that are not using a module title? It appears to be a placeholder of sorts where the title would be if one were using a title.

it depends on the skin or container you are using on your site, a number of skins include containers w/o titles.

Thanks for the prompt response. I see this behavior is also present with the default Minmal Extropy skin/containers. I remember 'way back when' in earlier versions of DNN that there was a checkbox in module settings  to not show module title and if checked the space would not be present.

AFAIR the "Show Title" option had been removed in DNN 2, there still is the option "display container", which may also affect alignment and frames. I suggest duplicating your default container ascx file and remove title.
