Hello All,

I've read the forum posts about the .dnnactionmenu z-index issues, but thus far nothing has fixed my problem.  Here's what's going on:

I have two panes that sit next to each other inside a div.  If I put an HTML module in the left pane, the dnn action menu will always appear underneath the content of the HTML modules inside the right pane, as well as the content of the HTML modules below it in the same pane.  The action menus of the HTML modules in the right pane appear above the left pane module content, but still underneath the content of any modules below it in the same pane.

In the default.css file, I have the following z-index values defined:

.dnnActionMenu  z-index:999999 !important;

.dnnModule  z-index:2;

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!
Kelly

Hi Kelly

Do you have an overflow:hidden somewhere in your skin or content. Its one of the tricks to clear floated layouts but it does not work nice with the module action menu

You could try making your own action menu based on any of the templates included in the ddrmenutemplates on codeplex. For most of my jquery or design heavy skin i use a template that creates a simple combobox. Works great and faster then the new manage one ( since the actionmenu is jsut a ddrmenu variation as wel )

You can also try the watchers.net module action menu
