Hello guys,

I am currently working on a project for a client but facing many difficulties.

They have DNN installed on their site in the root directory. I have a subdirectory with my files inside but unfortunately I cannot access any of the .aspx files inside this folder. (The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.)  I am able to, however, access .txt files etc.

I have tried searching for rewrite's that maybe affecting the access but I can't seem to locate anything. Furthermore, upon recommendation, I also tried adding a <location path="." inheritInChildApplications="false"> into the root web.config to prevent inheritance but that simply brought the whole site down with an internal server error.

If anyone can shed some light on how I can access the files I need, I would be eternally in debt to you.

All the best,

Danny

Hi guys,

So I fixed the issue, finally.

The solution was to add a record to the PortalAlias table within the DNN database.

The .aspx files then redirected back to the root index, but this was rectified with a simple RewriteRule.
