Anyone have any recommendations on good multi-language modules for DNN 6 (Chinese, Spanish, and French)? I've tried the module tha comes with DNN, but I'm either using it incorrectly or not at all.

Help?

you will need to apply a language pack, if you want to use any module in other languages, very few 3rd party modules have other languages included.
Regarding multilanguage content, it depends on your needs whether you are using localized pages in DotNetNuke core, providing option for using module copies per language or true multilingual sites and menus, using free 3rd party solutions, e.g. dsLocalizator for translating page menu and module titles as well as multilingual modules from Locopon, Apollo or dnnWerk/PepperTree solutions.

My level of DNN expertise is low to moderate.  My company is simply looking for a quick and easy way to convert English text to other languages without having to create multiple portals.

If I'm searching for language packs, are they easy to work with 6.0?

language packs from DNN 5 will work in DNN 6, but some captions in English may occur, where you may want to complete translation yourself or simply ignore it.

Check out the language packs page for more information about language packs, as well as a video on how to install language packs in DotNetNuke6. http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/L...
