I have a website in DNN 6.1.2 and am unable to use the "add Acount" command on the user accounts page. It opens the pop up window for account addition and lets me fill-in everything. When I hit the add account button a circular graphic rotates for about two seconds and then the window just sits there... no account added, won't go away, have tried hundreds of click combinations, waited for 30 minutes to see if it was just slow... nothing!  Is there something you have to configure first?

I emptied the cache without effect. I was using IE9. I tried Motzilla and it does the same thing... the string on the add new user button was: WebForm_DoPostBackWithOptions(newWebForm_PostBackOptions("dnn$ctr663$ManageUsers$cmdRegister", "", true, "", "", false, true))

I will try disabling pop-ups as suggested

The password has to be longer than seven letter if you use the default membership services ASP.NET... you have to change the web.config file... I gave in and gave the user a longer password and it works... thanks so much for your suggestions... I guess this is why I'm a newbie!
