Hi,

i am using Chris Hammonds excellent plugin module. I am trying to debug the javascript on the control. When I make a change to the ASCX page only, copying just the ASCX page to the test environment, does not change the control on the page. I assume because it is cached??

two questions:

1) can you test the module javascript by just changing the ASCX page? If you can how to go about it

2) does anybody know of a lightweight DotNetNuke web test site, so you can just copy the binaries and test the basic functionality without having to go through registering the extesnion to speed up development?

Thanks

Hi, Mo Hariri

If you don't use specific configuration on your server, it is impossible that ascx file don't chaged after replacement. Another case is if you specify for your module "Cached time". It won't be executed specified amount of time. You can check this parameter in your module definition.

Why you don't want to set up DNN on your local machine, it can safe more time in testing modules.

Thank you,
Henry Carter
