I have used DNN in a very basic way for a while but never in anger so hence putting these questions here.

I want to create a site which has a number of items, each item has a number of properties (eg title, photo, description etc). There are a number of different ways to group/ cut the items.  I assume it must be possible to use DNN to create these, create a template on how the properties should be translated to a page and for DNN to dynamically generate menus etc.

The closest I can think of is like a ecommerce catalog but without any shopping cart as these are not things for sale.

I have done things similar without any issues using Sharepoint but cannot see any way to do it with DNN

have a look at Property Agent from www.ventrian.com and there might be other extensions in the DNN store as well.

Hi,

Check out digArticle.  It sounds like you can do most of what you are looking for.  I'm working with a large site right now that is converting from Sharepoint to digArticle.

Thanks

Mike
