I am installing DNN 6 on Windows Server 2008 R2 64-BIT.  I have placed the files in the Default Website and set all the folders as applications.  I am using the CLR 2.0 for the 3.5 Framework.  When I go to the main site and get redirected to the install folder I get the following error:

Could not load file or assembly 'DotNetNuke.HttpModules' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'DotNetNuke.HttpModules' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

Could that be caused with the fact that I have a 64-BIT OS?  I have enabled 32-BIT Apps for the DefaultAppPool

DNN works fine with 64 bit - did you grant full file system permissions to the windows user, specified as Identity in your Application Pool configuration?

Don't use the default website - make a new one in IIS. I've encountered errors in the past doing this.

There shouldn't be issues with default web site, as long as you cleared all existing content.

Please check the site's /bin folder. Does the assembly DotNetNuke.HttpModules.dll exist in that folder?

If not, did you "unblock" the downloaded install package zip folder before extracting the DotNetNuke folders and files?

Am I correct that you are using the Install package, not the Source package for DotNetNuke?
