Greetings folks,

I was wondering if anyone had thoughts on an amazing module to use to set up a searchable database for a referral website.  For example, a website for plummers to sign up, list there contact info, image, etc.  People looking for plummers would come to the site and be able to search this database by location, specialty, etc.  The search results would show a list of people who meet their criteria, and then they could click on that plummers profile page.  This page would list the plummers basic information, plus other relevant info that was not included in the initial mini-bio for them.

Any thoughts, experience, or bits of wisdom on this would be fantastic, and much appreciated.

Warm Wishes, Dan

there are a number of free popular ones (http://www.eguanasolutions.com/DNN_Blog/EntryID/13.aspx covers some of these) and sqlgridselectedview is also popular http://www.tressleworks.ca/FreeModules/SQLGridSelectedViewV41/tabid/75/Default.aspx . There are also a ton of modules which allow you to mix results from sql queries with other items (markup/controls etc.), some of these are free such as http://openwebstudio.com/About/ProjectOverview.aspx and others are reasonably priced such as http://store.dotnetnuke.com/home/product-details/xmod-pro-30---forms-and-views-for-databases
