hi.

it seems to be complicated. i have changed the sa users password, but i still get the error that the password is wrong. even that i have restarted the SQL services.

if you are using sql server express and user instance db (database.mdf in your connection string) you should not need sa password. If you, however, want to use an attached database like in full versions of SQL Server, you need to create the blank database first and grant dbowner permission to the sql server account, you would like to use (and don't use sa for this).

It Looks to me as we discuss one issue from one user on 2 Threads.  This is not very helpfull.

I want to suggest that sarkaft used the from now the own thread he posted about his webmatrix issue with sa Login.
