Hi,

I have a dotnetnuke application. We are using 5.6.2 version. When we send emails from our application, they are going to spam folder. Can you provide us any solution for this?

Application is using DotNetNuke.Services.Mail inside.

thanks,

Kalyani

Kalyani,

do you use a sender address that has a domain different that the mail server? Then you should use an adequate reply-to address.

Read here for details: http://www.openspf.org

Best wishes

Yes, The sender's address domain is different from the mail server domain.  This is always the case. We have one scenario where it uses asClient.MsgSend(). I assume it is using active social client api. I don't have any knowledge about this module. I do not know how to setup reply-to-address.  Do you know any documentation on this api?

Also we are exploring adding spf record in the dns manager. Do you think it might solve the issue as well?

thanks,

Kalyani

Kalyani,

I don't know the Active Social API, I am afraid. I am using DotNetNuke.Services.Mail.Mail.SendMail(), there you have a reply-to parameter.

Best wishes

Michael
