Hi,

My project is using DNN 5.2.3.

I want to add/customize some user information in Add User Module. Now, we can see the user information of 'Authorize'  with check box. So, I want to add some more user info with checkbox, e.g 'isInternal'.

Then, every time we create a new user, we have to select whether this user is internal or not by clicking to 'isInternal' checkbox.

Another thing that I want to know is, adding customize database tables or columns in DNN database is the bad practice or not?

Please kindly advise. If my questions are mentioned in some thread, please guide me.

Thanks!

Hi Salar,

Thanks for your advise. As I'm just a beginner for DNN, I couldn't find such simple thing. :)

Now I can see that we can manage profile properties and add new entry.

My next question is can we manage user credentials and add new entry also?

Please kindly advise.

Thanks in advance.

Aung

what do you mean by adding user credentials? User properties (first tab of the user data) are a fixed set of properties, that's why profile properties may be extended. Starting with DNN 6.2.0, you may setup your own registration form with the fields you like.
