Hi Guys,
We are new to DNN development. What I have is an existing web application which mostly have static
content but along with some dynamic pages which are integrated to sql server 2005 database. We face problem
in updating the static content by some of content writers.so we decided to migrate our application to DNN.
Please guide me what should i download and how can i plan my migration.
Thanks

you will need to design a skin for your website and container(s), fitting your need, next you may copy and paste all static text into DNN HTML module, links, documents or whatever module is appropriate. If your dynamic content is based on ASP.Net, it shouldn't be too difficult to convert it into DNN modules, check out available module templates and tutorials.

Thanks Sebastian,

Yes my current application is a asp.net application. Moreover what should i download for this development from http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Downloads.aspx ?

should i download the trial or should i take source code package? As far as i know it is an open source CMS then what's the purpose for trial and costing is here?

Also i have a admin panel as well where as of current some SEO works take place. I think i can map thaqt one as well there?

you may download free install package for DNN Community edition from http://dotnetnuke.codeplex,com, which is fine for module development as well. For beginning module and skin development, have a look at DotNetNuke Module Development Guide / Skinning Guide, latest Blog entries by Charles Nurse and getting started videos from the video library.
