we attempted to merge our code with dnn, as new sys.

tried to implement our own global.cs code-heind, which inherit DotNetNukeHttpApplication

but keep getting get_Status() err.

If we don't inherit DotNetNukeHttpApplication, will DNN go wrong?

or any proper way to implement our own global.AppStart(), SessionStart(), etc over DotNetNukeHttpApplication?

hi, really need input on this.
if we can work properly with the dnn with my stuffs, it will potentially save us lot of extra dev works.

what i want to know is, global.asax is inheriting DotNetNukeHttpApplication
i want global to run our own custom HttpApp, which is inheriting DotNetNukeHttpApplication
it keep causing error

so is this can be proper done, or cannot then can we change the dnn web app global.asax without running stuffs from DotNetNukeHttpApplication?

If it can be done at all it would be extremely complicated.

Better to approach this the other way and create a DNN portal and then run your existing content inside that portal. You can find information in the WIKI and Online Help on how to do that.
