Where can I find a recommended implementation road map? I am looking for suggestions on timelines and suggested milestones.

Thanks!

I would surprised if that existed. Implementing DotNetNuke can be either very simple (ie. build a site in a matter of days) to very complex, with custom integrations with other applications, complex site structure complex infrastructure, which may take many, many months.

I would suggest getting in touch with a partner to discuss this with someone that has experience doing what you need: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Partners/Pa...
