Hi,

I have recently started using DNN7 and I am trying to implement Inter-Module Communication where one of the modules sends parameters and the other parameter displays a Crystal Report based on the parameters sent in the previous  module. The communication part is working fine and even the crystal report loads fine. However, in the crystal report when I click on the next page button, it shows an error - "No valid report source is available." Could anyone please suggest a way to overcome this problem?

Hi
It looks like a page post back issue. Try storing the report in Session and then give report source from session on page post back.

Thanks,

Hi Sunil,

I tried by saving the report document object in ViewState. But the error still showed up.

Hi Phanindra
You can easily find some links having the same issue..What they are saying that to store report in Session and then bind report source from session on page postback inside the Page_load method.

Thanks,
