I am setting up an internal site for the IT department of the company where I work. The main idea is to use it for sharing knowledge, and we will probably choose Canam Wiki Pro 2.1 as the core module for that.

One problem though is that my test users are a bit lazy, they enter a Wiki page and just write, "See attached documents" and then attach a bunch of PDF's, Word docs and Excel sheets. That is not really how I envisioned the Wiki to be used, but I don't think I can change this behavior.

What is more troublesome is that when a user then use either the main search function of DNN or the Canam Wiki search, the attached documents are not indexed and included in the search. This is a major problem.

How can I make my DNN site index also all attachments, and most importantly the one that are stored in \Portals\0\CanamWiki_Attachments\ folder?

I have seen that there are some alternative search modules to purchase in DNN store, is this the only option available? If my budget should not exceed 100 USD for the module, which one would fit me best?

Thanks for the answer Sebastian. So what you are saying is that DNN Community Edition do not have this possibility, but the Commercial Edition have? I will look in the store what alternative exists for a poor guy like me then ;-)
