I am new to dnn, I installed dnn website correctly but all links like login, registration, other pages showing 404 error, I come to know that these pages are virtual pages. But i don't know how to configure it in IIS 7. Can any body give me suggestion.

your machine will be missing this patch which is needed for extensionless urls - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/980368

I downloaded those hotfixes, But when i try to install it is not installing and giving some error popup. It says that "The service can not be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it." . I checked in the services that IIS is started and its running ok. What does this error means??

very odd - that message says that something you're trying to update (in this case IIS) isn't installed or running. I have no idea why this is happening, exception perhaps you have insufficient permissions to install a hotfix on your machine (e.g. you're not an admin). You can check and see if this patch is really what you need by editing web.config and changing the advanced setting to humanfriendly (i.e. the reverse process of http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/page/... ). if that allows your site to start working correctly, then extentionless url's are the issue - and you will either have to find a way to run that hotfix or else continue using humanfriendly.

Well, After i install SP1 for Windows Server2008 r2, the issue with virtual URL (Login, Register, other pages) was solved. Any ways i could not found the issue with hot fixes, even though my iis services are running.
