Hello,

Need help finding modules.

I've been looking since yesterday with no luck, i'm hoping someone here knows the modules i would need.

1. A module for creating a sorted linked list for a select level 'ie: only childrens of a certain page, not including grand childrens' with numbers and alphabets at the top to 'jump' to a specific number/letter group.

The vendor module is similar to what i need but in my case i want to refer to pages and not vendors.  An example is this http://www.yoox.com/US/designerIndex?dept=men

2. A module to make an image based linked list 'a sort of thumbnails for navigation' for a select level 'ie: only childrens of a certain page, not including grand childrens'. I can use the page icon via the Console module, but the images are too small and the module lists children pages and everything below to infinity.

3. A products catalogue, with the end result similar to a 'product' from the NB_Store module or other store modules. The problem is that i do not want to sell anything, i do not need the email for price, add to cart etc . I also need the ability for registered users to be able to create these product pages via the page directly instead of some admin console. Ideally i would like to include a rating and comment sections for each product page.

Number 3 seems like  a very long shot but i'm hoping for the best...

Thank you for your help

Hi M K,

Module 1 & module 2 : you could use a Razor script to accomplish this easily without installing/buying a module, then you have full control over how and what it displays.

Module 3 : NBStore can also be used for a product catalogue, you can switch the checkout, pricing off therefore making it into a product catalog system easily, have a look at this site we created for an example of this:

http://www.keukenskasten.nl/Keukens.aspx

It has prices in the product but that can be disabled.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

Geoff

Hello Geoff,

Thank you for your reply.

Didn't know about Razor. Seems like that's what i need.

For the NBStore. Indeed i was able to disable those and the product details page looks more like i want to have.

Best Regards,

MK

You might want to approach #1 with a custom menu template for the DDR Menu Module. You can use a Razor based template here.

Other options might include digPageLinks from dignuke.com and DnnSharp's NavXP module.
Finally, you can build a Razor script into a 2Sexy Content template, so that might be an option, too.
