I cannot login if i tick the box of remember me. I modify this statement from

<forms name=".DOTNETNUKE" protection="All" timeout="60" cookieless="UseCookies" />

 to

<forms name=".DOTNETNUKE" protection="All" timeout="10080" slidingExpiration="true" cookieless="UseCookies" />

and

    <add key="PersistentCookieTimeout" value="0" /> to     <add key="PersistentCookieTimeout" value="1234" />

in webconfig file. But I still cannot login after i tick the remember me box.

Actually, I want to auto fill the user name and password when i tick the check-box. Here login page: https://www.dnnsoftware.com/login is exactly i wanted.

How can i do ?

Many thanks.

you need to set value for PersistentTimeoutCookie to a proper number, e.g. 20000 for 2 weeks.

User needs not to use "Logout", this will kill the cookie.

I see, thank you. How about auto complete in login?

It means auto fill id and password fields via cookies.

Login auto-complete is disabled intentionally for security purposes.

Hi Woody,
In my understanding, Remember login is a feature where users login session are stored in a persistence cookie, duration of which is set as you mentioned above. So if user closes the browser, without logout, then the user can again get logs in when opens site in that time period. If he log out then this will kill the cookie and next time no auto login work. About the auto fill feature, although the text "Remember login" giving such auto fill impression, but i fell Sebastian will agree that, this is not related to remember login checkbox. So i suggest to change the text to something like " Stay Signed in".

Thanks,
