DNN makes it very easy to create a multi-level menu hierarchy that represents all the pages on a site.

I'm wondering if it also offers a simple way to split the Top Level menus from their children.
So that the Child & descendants could be displayed as a hierarchy in a Left Pane.

Is there a module or configuration that does this?

For example: If I click a menu at the top (Geography) then the left pane would show menus related to Sales regions & Countries. If I click a Top Menu (Products) then the left pane menus would link to pages relevant to products.
NB: Please don't focus on the dimensionally of this example. I have neither but use them as they are simple to understand.

Effectively using the Top Menu to link to different "sub Sites" potentially each one having its own Master layout template.
