this is indeed interesting. I think it has more to do with your IIS installation than with DNN, e.g. if I try to enter the link to your logo (which can be found wheen I right click the place where the image should be and go to properties: http://www.ericatchley.com/Portals/0/...) I get an HTTP 500 error - which means internal server error. Maybe it is only your application pool that hangs, try to stop and start it and see if it works. If not - restart IIS, and then the machine itself if this did not help.

You could also check the permissions of the app pool identity in the file system where DNN is installed, but if it had worked before I guess that this is not the problem unless someone changed it.
