Howdy,

I'm quite new to DNN, but I'm experienced in web design and .net .    I would like to know how to add html to every single page,  Its easy on a classic .net site with  masterpages , but i'm not sure if this would be a template or skin edit on a DNN Site .

How is this achieved through DNN?

i need these on everysite hosted through DNN (currently 2 )  though i don't mind apply the same code to each site by it self if that's how its done.

Thank you

Alex,
Some of it depends on WHERE you want the content displayed, how you want it styled, what skins are being used and how frequently that content that is displayed on all pages will be modified.
If the content can appear at the top or bottom of each page and does NOT need to be styled to look like it belongs with the rest of the site, you could simply add that content to the DEFAULT.ASPX file. However, that file is typically overwritten with DNN upgrades.
If the content won't change all that often AND you want it integrated better within each site AND you're willing to tweak each skin that is used, you could create a basic skin object and add it into the skins available for each site. If the content will be updated frequently, you'd still want to use a skin object, but you might have to program a component for this.
There may be some better solutions for this, and hopefully somebody else will chime in.
PS. I think Sebastian's reply was intended for a different thread.
