My host changed my temporary url to a new one. Now when i enter my new temporary url http://stefanpali-001-site2.itempurl.com, it redirects immediatly to my old temporary url that doesn't work anymore http://stefanpali-001-site2.smarterasp.net/en-gb/.

Only way i can see my website is when i enter my sub page http://stefanpali-001-site2.itempurl.com/bonus-offers but the login function is not functioning properly and i can't access my website.

What can i do so it stops redirecting me to my old temporary url that doesn't work anymore. What should i exactly do in coding? I have looked in the MSSQL Database for "PortalAlias" and what should i do there?

in portalAlias table, you need to provide the proper domain address, e.g. "stefanpali-001-site2.itempurl.com" (you may overwrite the old value).
The primary alias for each portalid (and language) need to exist.

I am a beginner so i'm not sure if i did everything right, but in portalAlias table i have my new temporary url "stefanpali-001-site2.itempurl.com" but under IsPrimary it says "false". I changed it to "true" but i still doesn't work. I also tried to change the old temporary url "stefanpali-001-site2.smarterasp.net" to the new url but it isn't allowed.

The tableAlias looked like this:

stefanpali-001-site2.smarterasp.net --- IsPrimary: True
stefanpali-001-site2.smarterasp.net/en-gb --- IsPrimary: True
stefanpali-001-site2.smarterasp.net/sv-se --- IsPrimary: True
stefanpali-001-site2.itempurl.com --- IsPrimary: False

What exactly should i do, i changed The "IsPrimary" but nothing worked?

If I understood your issue correctly, you can't access your website at the url of http://stefanpali-001-site2.itempurl.... but when I go to that address the browser opens it at http://stefanpali-001-site2.itempurl.... so the redirection to the alias of .../en-gb/ works OK.

I can also enter your website at the address of http://stefanpali-001-site2.itempurl....

Confirming your observations I cannot access the URL of http://stefanpali-001-site2.smarteras....

The advice that can be offered is:
- clear the browser's cache
- clear your dnn instance cache
- restart app pool either from the dnn instance or the IIS server control panel
- check your website accessibility in different web-browsers

and report back the details

Hi, thank you for your answer. I fixed the issue recently and now the redirection issue is gone. But the only problem that i have left is that when i am on the swedish version http://stefanpali-001-site2.itempurl.com/sv-se/ the text for the login and register icon are gone, and also when you click either on the register or the login icon the form has a bug, it doesn't look like it should, you can see for yourself. Also when i login as a admin, i also cannot see the text on the menu when im on the swedish version. It's like a bug and only on the swedish version.

What could the problem be?
