Hi, I DNN newbie here.. I am just keeping our site alive until we can redesign.. This may be a ridiculous question no one can help me with, but here is the story: A page that exists on our site -- we'll call it the Mystery Page -- did not appear in the list of pages in the Pages section of the Admin tool.. so I messed around doing various things until I got it in there. How exactly, I do not know. However, now the link to the Mystery Page from another page on the site now does not work. "error.htm?aspxerrorpath=" in inserted in the otherwise correct URL both when I am logged in as an Admin and when I am not. Any ideas how I can get the link to work again??? THANK YOU!!

There are two (or more?!) ways to link to an existing page. It also changes periodically - generally based on the editor that is installed - just to keep you on your toes...

Anyway when you create a hyper link, you can hardcode the page URL, but it is generally preferred to link to the page in the portal. By doing it this way, if you rename or move the page within the site, the link should still work, magically!

Here's the current (DNN Version 9) dialog and selections for linking to a portal page:

Does that help resolve your issue?

I'm not sure how the page could NOT have been listed in the Admin Pages module, as long as you created the page via DNN. (I don't recall seeing that ever.)

I'm guessing that the error you are seeing is likely due to a bad link, to where the "Mystery Page" used to be. Recreate the link, using my post above, to the reflect the Mystery page's new location.

Does that work?
