How would I go about creating a picture YouTube link on my home page DNN9?  I want to put a clickable picture link that would direct visitors to a YouTube or Vimeo video.  I figure it out how to create a word link but I can't figure out how to make a picture a link.  I can't seem to find anything online and I fooled around with all the tools on my page and I am completely baffled.  Thank you!

Michael,

do you already have a picture? You can then add a picture inside the HTML module ("Browse server" - you can upload it there as well, if you have not done it so far), and in the image properties windows you find a Link tab - there you can enter the link, and define a target (e.g. _blank if you want to open a new browser window). You may also use an Url as the image source when the picture is somewhere else...

Happy DNNing!

Hello Michael.  I was able to manage pictures but YouTube links are a problem.  I was able to upload a YouTube link but something is visibly wrong with it.  Most YouTube links have a play arrow in the center of the YouTube link but my YouTube link does not show and arrow in the center of it.  It shows shows the snippet picture only.  So my question is, how can I create a YouTube link with the arrow in the center of the YouTube link snippet picture.  Just like the picture below.  Hopefully you can see it.  Thank you!

Michael,

as a simple solution I would add the play button to the picture using Photoshop or GIMP or something alike.

Sorry, I am not too much into YouTube, but I am sure there is a kind of API that allows you you to show videos on your site, so it should be possible to create a nice interface using OpenContent (http://www.openextensions.net/) or 2sxc (https://2sxc.org). If you're looking for a ready-to-use module have a look at EasyDNN Gallery (http://www.easydnnsolutions.com/modul...).

Happy DNNing!

Well I guess the good news is that I did it  right.  The more I get used to DNN9 I'll eventually or by accident the proper way to upload with an arrow.  Anyway, thanks for your help in this matter and as is soon as I run into another little problem I will repost.  Thanks again!
