Hello,

Recently I lost the ability to export content and I can't figure out why. The only thing I can think of is that I made some changes to the performance settings the other day.

Is there a particular setting that might keep me from being able to export the content of a module?

Thanks, Nathan

can you please be more specific, what is your problem? does it affect all modules or single ones only? did you check iPortable support flag being set in DesktopModules?

As far as I can tell it is happening on all modules. For example, if I want to export the content for the links module, I go through the steps of exporting and then go to import but do not see my export in the list of things to import.

I use this function frequently and have not had a problem before so I'm not sure what has happened.

Not sure that I am familiar with the iPortable support flag. Is this something I would check or uncheck in the Module Definitions?

Well it appears that this has been fixed, although not necessarily sure how.

I went about checking and unchecking things within the host settings to see if anything made a difference and it seems as though when I enabled "Auto-Sync File System" that it fixed the problem. Does this make any sense?

auto-sync file system should be enabled, otherwise externally added files will not be recognized. Strange to hear, that DNN exports are not included automatically. It would be great if you could validate, that it is caused by this setting to get it fixed for next (or next but one) version.
