One of my site received the following error and one hour after, DNN occupied 3GB ram in the server.

Before this occur, I've installed a module which seems fine during and after the installation. The newly installed module is still running on the site which seems fine since server reboot.

I am running PageBlaster on the site for a year and it should have already taken out the default DNN caching provider, however this is what it shows:

After the previous incident, I have put PageState into Page instead of memory, Cache Setting to none, and Authenticated Cacheability to ServerandNoCache

This morning, my site receive couple of above error again and there was a memory spike. The site is running fine before and the only thing I've changed is installing a new module which doesn't seems to be the cause...

Thanks,
George

if the error started occurring after you added a new module, I'd suspect it is connected. What makes you think, it is not?

The module is working fine with DNN till now, (I have this module running on another site with same DNN version 5.1.2 with no problem for about few months). I suspect it is the module installation that caused the problem, maybe the application did not restart properly after module installation and crashed the caches.

Now my site is using about 300MB of ram. I'll see if the problem occur if I install other module.

Thanks,
George

Did you ever sort this out George? My IIS processes (and SQL) run very high...

Also - I never had much luck moving my Viewstate the session, although I would love to do this to reduce bandwidth and pagesize. Have you ever seen a site work with this setting on?
