Hello,
I installed by the wizard modality dotnetnuke 5.2.2 on webhost4life. I would like to set up my portal in the better way to reduce slowness problems. I read some articles about the solution, but the information that I have found on different sites didn't agree. According to your experience what are the best settings for the 5.2.2 dotnetnuke version?
Thanks

Googling here and there, I found that DNN sites actually are "put aside" by the server if they´re not called very often, and because of that, these sites have to be some sort of "reloaded" (maybe recompiled JIT) when called again. That appeared to be the reason why our new DNN-based sites usually take so looong to load. I started to think: "If there were something I could give a list of my sites and a certain lapse of time between them, so that this something could request them from the server... OMG, that would be great!" I realized I could write that something, and... behold "WakeUpDNN" http://www.wakeupdnn.com/ It's free... obviously. And its website is, off course, made with DNN.

The professional version of DNN includes a "KeepAlive" service.
