Good Afternoon, I have submitted this as a support ticket but would like to get some input from the community as well to see if anyone else has had a similar experience.

This morning we came into to an out of Memory Error on our server and were unable to access our DotNetNuke application (which for us is our Intranet) for a couple of hours. Upon inspecting the event log, through SQL queries we noticed that a GENERAL_EXCEPTION was being thrown every 100th of a second. Looking at the error even closer it seemed to be the exact same error every single time. That being a timeout period expired error.

Unfortunately, our servers are managed by a third party provider so we are not able to see what was happening on the server side of things however, we have been told that a process called DW20.exe appeared to being running excessively and once shut down our site came up shortly there after.

At this point both our server administrators and ourselves are completely stumped as to A) what caused the issue in the first place. and B) how the issue was resolved.

Have you ever heard of this happening on other installations od Dotnetnuke?

Do you have any advise/insight onto what may have happened in this instance and how we can avoid it in the future?
