Anyone who has any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi,

This issue is commonly handled by using a 301 redirect to the preferred URL. I believe there are some modules available on snowcovered that can deal with this and it might be possible to do using a Request Filter (Host Settings tab) although be careful with request filters - read the warning on the page.
