Hello

Sorry in advance for my bad english :)

I am hosting 3 sites atm on a server. The server running on Windows 2008 Server Standard. IIS 7, SQL Express 2008(local), HP ML Server, Quadcore Xeon CPU, 4gb ECC memory. ect. And it is running on a virtuel citrix xen platform, if that is an issue.

The sites are really really REALLYslow. Specialy on load. And they time out when we are editing the sites. The "pop up's" wont load (the ones where you edit preferences for at picture or link ect.) and so on and so on..

What is wrong - and the most importent, what can i do to make it faster? The sites are fully up to date - and i have tryed "no recycling" on IIS server. there is 3,2gb avalible memory on the server.

So i have to use hours to read and change setting and so on, just to get it running? That cant be right? Its only ddn that has problems. And a quick search on the internet tells me, that im not the only one. Shouldnt there be something done about this? I can tell that it has been a problmen for severel years.

If this is such a large operation, maybe dnn should make a update or a patch to the server? it cant be right. My server has plenty of perfomance and plenty of speed on the internet connection. And its also just dnn that is slow. All other sites, html, php, cms and so on, runs fine.

You're absolutely right, DNN is totally at fault. They should really release an upgrade to patch your server. Sorry the internet has let you down by forcing you to read something and change some settings.
