Ok So I have been doing research and I have may have missed the threads on here but I cant seem to find anything.

SEO Friendly urls.

I am tryign to optimize my site for the web. One of the biggest tasks is the main home page.
I am running the lastest community version 5.5.1
The home page is

www.somesite.com/home.aspx

How can I make it

www somesite.com

I am aware there are a few modules you can purchase on snowcovered for a hefty price but I would think that there has to be a open source way or a simple code setting some where that I can make to satisify that.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Michael

Michael, you could always add home.aspx as the default document in IIS, then www.somesite.com is equivalent to www.somesite.com/home.aspx (your problem here is that IIS will only look for common defaults such as default.aspx/default.htm)

PageBlaster 3.4.5 - Professional Edition
