Hi!

I am using my laptop with dual core, IIS 7, windows 7, I installed dnn trought Web Platform Installer. I get very slow performance, but only when logged in as an administrator. It can take minutes to load a page and make a change. Or it may even time out. When browsing as anonymous user everything works fast. However, there weren't any problems on the production server.
Solutions?

I managed to largely reduce the problem by using Firefox (I use Minefield) instead of Chrome. It still times out from time to time, but going to root page is quick.

there are some anecdotal reports of a particular virus scanner causing issues - consider disabling it temporarily to see if that is it.

I have a dedicated server that is running multiple separate DNN installations using various DNN versions. I just started noticing that pages take a long time to load when I am logged in as an admin on one of my portals. I've tried other portals on other DNN installations on the same server - they all run fine. I upgraded to 5.06, but the problem remains. I've tried all of the database optimizations that I know of, but nothing has helped. I ran a trace and noticed that the Init and Load events are taking way too long, but only when logged in as an admin.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
