I'm tried to install it but it falls over when I click on the Enable button... I've raised it on CodePlex but it's unusable at the moment (it sounds like what I need tho, thanks)

Update: I changed the AutoClose connection on the Database to false (it must have been changed when I migrated servers) - I suspect that was causing the problem.

Thanks for the tips that lead me to fix this Cathal.

glad to hear you found the problem. FYI AutoClose is the default for sql express so Ive seen this happen when people have moved from the full sql product (in their dev environment) to sql express (in production - even though it's not a recommended production database). If you look at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb264564(v=sql.90).aspx you'll see the following: "◦User instance databases have the Auto Close option set so that if there are no connections to a database for 8-10 minutes, the database shuts down and the file is closed. This happens automatically, but it can take a while, especially if connection pooling is enabled for your connections.". However the bigger problem can be found at http://blogs.msdn.com/b/sqlexpress/archive/2008/02/22/sql-express-behaviors-idle-time-resources-usage-auto-close-and-user-instances.aspx which states that if an active takes more than 300ms it can result in an autoclose.

How and where do you set the AutoClose to false?

Thanks.
