loading page time is not in seconds some time its take few minutes to load. As the customer perspective its really bad performance. My customer running booking business so the page response time for them its really important. because they need to see the availiable booking in the system tell the customer. So i am very worried about the performance.

Please help me in this matter. i am not professional developer in DNN but i have experience in ASP development.

Thanks in advance.

Shahid,
Performance is generally related to the hosting environment. Sounds like you're talking about your local laptop. Check to see what your performance monitor is showing. SQL Server will take up a lot of memory when running. Also, on no/low traffic sites (and dev sites) the first page load will be the slowest as the app fires up everything.

Alos, keep in mind this site is a DNN site and performs very well as a large site with many users. Perhaps you can use some live examples (like this site) to ease your client's concerns.

Finally, the more you plan the hosting horsepower the better your performance will be (in other words, don't expect enterprise level performance from a $49 a month shared hosting plan).

If you're running SQL Express, It will max out at 1.67GB of ram.
For IIS, w3wp.exe may take out the rest of the ram depend on your setting...

Unless you're running database else where. Else I don't see running 2GB is enough to run IIS7 efficiently...

When there is not enough memory in Application pool, what it do is keep restarting...

Thanks,
George
