Hi,

We are using EasyUserDirectory module to allow the public users to see all the member depending to the role for each member

after I added all the member accounts "580 account"
the page that include the module take more than 10 min to load the page with all the accounts! and you cant go to any other page unless the list of users page load!
Home page: http://demo.jacpa.org.jo/ar-jo/home.aspx
List of users page:  http://demo.jacpa.org.jo/ar-jo/membership/listofusers.aspx

If you swap between pages its fine but when you click on the member list page it's too slow

How i can know where is exactly the issue? How to fix that?
and are there any other free module to list the users for the public depending to the role with ability to search by username, first name and last name?

Thanks in advance

most likely, the module loads all user accounts upon initial load and caches it - which is fine for small numbers but has a long initial load time with many users. Besides, the module might DNN API, which is very inefficient in loading users (one by one).
Have a look at Effority User Directory (http://userdirectory.codeplex.com/), which accessed the database directly.

Its likely that the module is badly implemented.  There are known issues with some user modules that try to load ALL users every time that display a page - even if they are only showing a small number of actual users per page.  This can cause the system to generate tens of thousands sql queries every page refresh.

Did you ask the EasyUserDirectory module authors?  They will know far more about it than we do. We can only guess.

Thank you Sebastian

I already installed this one but when you try to add it to one of the pages nothing happened (No action)
That's why i install also Telerik based Easy User Directory (branch) - 01.00.00 from the same place http://userdirectory.codeplex.com/

What the issue is?

Thank you Wes Tatters for your reply
do you know any modules can help me to list the users depending to roles with ability to search with username and name?
