this is something that is very important for a client and i dont know how to fix this.

if u look at  http://www.sportsdirect.com you willl see that when you click on a category whole pages doesnt get refereshed, ie you dont notice any flicker, content above menu doesnt get repainted.

how do i achieve that?  is it only speed or something else? my site locally works fine (most of the time, sportsdirect gets slight flicker sometimes). online page gets "refreshed", ie there is 300ms when there is gray screen.

im thinking it must be some dnn performance setting? because online site is as fast as local site.

clicking on main menu is another example. this site  (http://www.dnnsoftware.com) has the same problem: whole site flickers when clicking on top menu links. maybe im complicating too much. but my client is unhappy about it.

menu links always force the page to be refreshed, only client side actions in modules linke Member Directory, File Manager or Journal perform a client side refresh just of the content needed.

Yes it's obvious that whole page must get refresed if url changes. But I'm talking about impression that only part of page gets refreshed when clicking menu links, works like that on all major sites. look at sportsdirect.com

I see the whole page getting refreshed, when selecting from the menu on the site you mentioned.
