Hi all,

I have this problem on our site. We built the site on one of the earlier DNN 7 versions, which had the known bug of using too much memory and CPU. I upgraded DNN to the latest, hoping that it will resolve the problem. No such luck. The site runs fine, but when I activate a certain module (URL Rewriter), memory and CPU usage starts climbing up. Before anyone sends me to the module provider saying it has to be the modules fault, we use this module on other sites as well (advanced friendly urls can't rewrite catalook urls, that's why is needed), and we don't have this problem.

My question: is it possible that an upgrade doesn't always get rid of the issue, and it gets triggered by certain modules? Is there some other fix that I can apply? Site is already upgraded to the latest DNN.

an upgrade cannot solve configuration issues or issues with 3rd party extensions.
