We need to remove the X-Frame-Options value of SAMEORIGIN from the site headers in order for our site to work in an Android and IPhone app.

I tried updating the web.config but it had no effect.

<httpProtocol>

  <customHeaders>

    <add name="X-Frame-Options" value="ALLOW-FROM http://www.auditorcontroller.org" />

</customHeaders>

</httpProtocol>

and

<httpProtocol>

      <customHeaders>

        <remove name="X-Frame-Options"/>

      </customHeaders>

    </httpProtocol>

Is there a setting somewhere else where we can turn it off?

Tom,

You could try to set this value in the global.asax file:

protected void Application_BeginRequest()
{
   Response.AddHeader("X-Frame-Options", "ALLOW-FROM http://www.auditorcontroller.org");
}

Happy DNNing!
Michael

Did this end up working for you Tom?

My Global.asax file is like this:

<%@ Application Inherits="DotNetNuke.Web.Common.Internal.DotNetNukeHttpApplication" Language="C#" %>

and I couldn't add the code in the thread because the website would go down.

I ended creating a module that I put on every page, that suppresses the XFrame option.  Here is the VB code

 AntiForgeryConfig.SuppressXFrameOptionsHeader = true
