Hello! We've recently came across with some optimization issues on our DNN installation, which consist out of more than 100 portals. What we are trying to achieve now is to append custom text to every page (tab) title. As we've found out until now, this is not possible by default, running custom SQL scripts is also not a good option for us. Is there any solution, to add/append a custom text to every (!!!) tab title.

Example of Site URL: http://www.myproject.com

Example of a page title: My page title

What do we want to achieve is, to add " - MyProject" to every page (tab) title, so the result will look like: "My page title - MyProject"

 Is this possible by default? Any known solutions, are there any custom (3rd party) modules available to handle such things?

 Thank you for your kind help and answers!

I am not aware of an option in the framework itself nor an existing 3rd party extension for this purpose.
SQL would be the easiest option, a custom module or skin object a more comfortable solution.

You can code in Skin with runat=server, or write your custom skinobject
Example: OnPreRender event handler:
var BasePage = this.Page as DotNetNuke.Framework.CDefault;
var metaTitle = PortalSettings.ActiveTab.Title + " - " + PortalSettings.PortalName;
BasePage.Title = metaTitle;
