I have implemented the OVP as suggested by Jan Olsmer on another post. I now cannot find that  post and I am having issues getting the video delivered form the windows media server to the player on the page.Can't figure out why. Anyone with any knowledge, your assistance would be greatly appreciated. We are getting a stream from the encoder to the WMS, but out onto the DNN page is another issue. Anyone with any WMS knowledge would also be much revered.

 Hi Beth

 I have a client who is using OVP in DNN to stream video. He told me that he was using the wrong version of OVP and also that he got some solid help from an OVP forum post.
 If you get no luck you could try emailing him ( production at carnyx.tv ).

 Re OVP. There was talk of someone making a dnn module wrapper for the OVP code. Not sure if this has been done.

 Re finding posts. Many of us ignore the DNN search via Google using the search tools at http://www.searchdotnetnuke.com/

 Hope this helps.

Thanks so Much Ian,

I am seeking their advice as you suggested. I have tried every methods to put this stream into the page on this DNN site and had no luck at all. I have tried several module, several configurations of links such as mms, http and even trying to use the asax file link. Nothing seems to be working. I will certainly follow this lead and perhaps this will be the answer.

Don't know what problems you have with OVP.

You can test my silverlight media module ant this inital parametersettings to test if this works in your enviorment.

'showstatistics=true, autoplay=true, muted=false, playlistoverlay=true, theme=/Portals/0/themes/ShinyRed.xaml, stretchmode=Fit, stretchmodefullscreen=Fit, mediasource=mms://live1.wm.skynews.servecast.net/skynews_wmlz_live300k

This works for me.
