Hello, Im trying to create a module in which when one link is clicked in a list, more detailed information would appear in a second module within the main one.

Does this make sense?  Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

try avoiding to use multiple modules, if possible create a list and the detail in a popup (lightbox) or just to the right within the module.

PS: it is the same basic concept, as used by FAQ module, right?

I have worked with Inter-module communication (IMC) to implement similar functionality ... check out this sample

In this example, the module SQLGridSelectedView (SGSV) is used to select the company, then passes the selected company to 3 other modules on the page.  Each of which display different, but related information.    The Chart is SQLChart and it also accepts IMC messages from SGSV.

The are several examples of how to Implement IMC ... just google for them.

Hope this Helps
Paul.
