The results returned are stripping away characters such as periods, commas, parentheses and even deleting the space where the character was positioned. Has anyone else encountered this behavior before?

Here is the link to site with this behavior:

www.GuideToSNP.com/web (the search is on the home page)

Do a search for 'bears' or 'deer' to see the range of stripped results. Here is an example of a strip: there is a page named About Bears (and other animals) The results display it as About Bearsand other animals - note how the parentheses are stripped and also the missing space.

I am using DotNetNuke 5.2 - but there are many DNN sites out there running CSE.

I don't get it - I have even went as far as creating a new site map and deleting the old one. Also tried resubmitting the site map several times. Even went as far as deleting the CSE account and re-creating it!

Geez...after 2 weeks of posting on Google CSE forums and not one single reply, I decide to post it here on DNN and all of a sudden the dang thing is working correctly! I've done no code changes or updates, and it's suddenly working.
